Statistical Cooperation

The development, production, and dissemination of internationally harmonized and hence comparable official statistics is necessary to assess the state and development of economic cooperation and integration, for example in the framework of the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement or EFTA’s Free Trade Agreements. EFTA therefore cooperates with the EU, the OECD, the UN, and other international organisations, as well as with partner countries all over the world to improve the availability and quality of internationally comparable official statistics.
