EFTA participates in peer review in Palestine

The EFTA Statistical Office in cooperation with colleagues from Eurostat have conducted the mission of the peer review to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).

The expert panel consisting of one EFTA and two Eurostat experts was welcomed by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics from the 30^th of May to 2^nd of June 2022. ESO was represented by the Deputy Marius Andersen.

ESO would like to thank again the statistical experts from the PCBS, and colleagues from Eurostat and EFTA for the good cooperation.

The final report will be published in due time on EFTA's website.

The peer review is part of the EFTA statistical cooperation with partners beyond the European Statistical System (ESS) to review and monitor the implementation of the Code of Practice (CoP). The objective is to highlight legal and organisational aspects of National Statistical Institutes in compliance with the CoP.
