Norwegian ambassador visits ESO

On 03 May 2022, H.E. Mr. Bård Ivar Svendsen, Norway’s ambassador to the Netherlands and Luxembourg visited the EFTA Statistical Office (ESO) in Luxembourg.

On this occasion, H.E. Bård Ivar Svendsen and ESO, representend by Volker Täube and Marius Andersen, discussed cooperation in the European Statistical system and statistical cooperation in the EEA Agreement. In addition, the Ambassador met with the Seconded National Experts (SNEs) from Norway working in Eurostat. Secondment of national experts from the EFTA countries is an important part of the statistical cooperation with Eurostat and this meeting was an opportunity to learn more about the work of the SNEs in Eurostat.
