EFTA Statistical Office conducts 2020 global statistical assessment in Kyrgyzstan

The expert panel consisting of five EFTA/Eurostat/UNECE experts was welcomed by the Chairman, Mr Akylbek Sultanov and the senior management at the NSC in Bishkek from the 27 to 31 January 2020.

Global Assessments are regularly conducted stocktaking exercises. They check such characteristics as institutional and legal organisation as well as statistical production against the Statistics European Code of Practice (ECoP) or the UN Fundamental Principles of Statistics (FPoS). The second mission will take place in the second half of 2020.
