EEA Budget for Participation in EU Programmes
The EEA Agreement ensures participation by the three EEA EFTA States (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) in a number of EU programmes.
According to forecasts made at the beginning of the period, the EEA EFTA commitment to the Multiannual Financial Framework 2014-2020 amounts to approximately EUR 3.22 billion.
Financial Contributions of the EEA EFTA States toward the EEA Grants
A total contribution of €2.8 billion from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to 15 beneficiary countries has been agreed fort the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021. The priorities for the 2014-2021 period reflect the priorities of the EU and aim to respond to the shared challenges facing Europe
