
The EFTA Statistical Office, in cooperation with Eurostat and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), took part in organizing the high-level seminar for European Neighbourhood Policy East (ENP-East) and Central Asia Countries on “Data sources and coordination in statistical systems” in Tbilisi, Georgia from the 28th-30th of September 2022.
The expert panel consisted of seven EFTA/Eurostat/UNECE experts and statisticians from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
EFTA contributed with a presentation on the topic “EU strategy and legislative initiatives in the data field” and by chairing a session on the use of administrative data for statistical purposes.
