of the EFTA Standing Committee

21 March 2024, 15h–17h in Brussels

The Prime Minister of Iceland, Ms Katrín Jakobsdóttir, will participate in this seminar, which aims to address the key challenges and highlight effective strategies for the management of plastic waste in the oceans.

The event will take place at EFTA House, Avenue des Arts 19H, 1000 Brussels on Thursday 21 March, from 15h to 17h. You can register here.

The event will be followed by the opening of an exhibition created by Icelandic artists The Arctic Creatures, which raises questions about how humans experience nature and, in turn, how we impact the environment. The Arctic Creatures has previously been exhibited in Iceland and Denmark.
