EEA Seminar 11-12 June 2009

The EFTA Secretariat biannual seminar on the EEA Agreement in Brussels on 11-12 June was attended by almost 100 participants.

The purpose of the seminar is to provide participants with insights and facts about the the EEA Agreement, its operation and institutional set-up. The second day of the seminar focused on social policy in Europe and the role of the EU. EFTA Social partners were giving their view, and the participants were also given an overview of how social policy is dealt with under the EEA Agreement.
