EFTA Council adopts the budget for 2018

On 7 December, the tenth and last Council of the year under the Liechtenstein chairmanship took place in Geneva. During the meeting, the Council adopted the EFTA budget for 2018, Iceland presented their priorities for the first half of 2018, and the Council discussed work with regard to expanding and developing the EFTA network of Free Trade Agreements.

EEA EFTA Forum adopts opinions on European Data Economy and Erasmus for local and regional representatives

At its 16th meeting on 16 and 17 November, the EEA EFTA Forum of Local and Regional Authorities met in Brussels to discuss ongoing developments in the European Economic Area. It adopted two opinions: on the European data economy and on an Erasmus programme for local and regional representatives.
