The seminar was attended by users and producers of statistics in the Ukraine. High-level officials from various Ukrainian ministries were present as well as representatives from the regional statistical institutes of Ukraine.

The seminar was the conclusion of an ongoing project between EFTA, Statistics Norway and the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine (SSCU) on Price Statistics. Speakers from the European Central Bank, UNECE, Eurostat, Statistics Romania and Statistics Norway gave presentations on the challenges of producing price statistics. The seminar was concluded with a panel discussion chaired by the EFTA Statistical Adviser.

The seminar was a great success with an excellent exchange of information between the participants and speakers. Final report of the seminar will be available in a few weeks.
