Statistics Norway and ESO jointly organise, from 13 to 15 October on EFTA premises in Brussels, a seminar for Directors of the central and regional offices of the Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat).
The main objective of the seminar is to familiarise participants with the functioning of the European statistical system. Lecturers from Norway, Denmark, Lithuania, Eurostat and the EFTA Secretariat will discuss institutional and practical aspects of the cooperation between Eurostat and the national statistical institutes for the production, processing and dissemination of comparable statistics including quality principles and the European Code of practice.
