The EFTA States and Indonesia met for a wrap up meeting in Denpasar, Indonesia from 29-31 October 2018, during which the negotiations on a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) was concluded in principle.

The EFTA States and Indonesia held a wrap up meeting of negotiations in Denpasar, Indonesia on 29-31 October 2018.
Negotiations towards a CEPA were launched in July 2010, with the first round held early 2011 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Since then, 15 rounds of negotiations and several experts' meetings have been held.
The Agreement has now been concluded in principle, with some follow-up work on a limited number of issues as well as the legal review of some texts of the Agreement still pending.
