EFTA seminar on the EEA attracts great interest

Published 05-09-2014
On 4 September 2014, 130 participants from both the public and private sectors met at the EFTA Secretariat in Brussels for an introductory seminar on the European Economic Area (EEA). Representatives of the EFTA Secretariat, Financial Mechanism Office (FMO), EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA) and EFTA Court gave presentations on the day-to-day operation and management of the EEA Agreement, including recent developments and challenges.

This introductory seminar is in particular intended for those who work on EEA-related matters in national administrations, EU and EFTA institutions, permanent representations and missions to the EU, or in other organisations. It is held twice a year, the next taking place at the beginning of 2015.

EFTA would like to thank all the speakers and participants for making the seminar a success.
